What if Firefox does not update the sessionstore. We have a system where some of our files are on a central server and some on a local machine. Some of the time the backups work but not always. I just discovered that the last backup was from December so none of my tabs and bookmarks since then are saved.

Firefox lost 2 out of my 4 packed windows, was about to despair but renaming previous. Then I see the NEW version, and it starts sounding a lot more complicated and arcane. Way too many different files and names to keep track of. Also, what if you just name the newest folder? Do you really have to rename the whole sequence of them to work properly?
